Okay so I'm creating this game out of selfish desire to see what interesting things yee Oppo can come up with.
Okay so rules;
1. It's not really a 4 car garage rather a 2 car garage and 2 driveway spots (so two of the cars have to be something you wouldn't mind leaving outside under a cover. For the sake of this game, lets pretend snow is not a factor and it barely rains...)
2. Maximum per vehicle is $30,000 USD. This could mean you buy the vehicle fully built for $30,000 and then just drive it, or you spend $10,000 on a project and the other $20,000 on upgrades / repairs.
3. Repair costs and cost to maintain are discluded.
4. Lets assume you have a reliable DD which does not have to be included on this list.
GO!

The first two I already have. The other two hopefully in a few years.
1) 1995 F150 - my favorite F150 body style. Enough power to pull a trailer and beater enough not to worry about it sitting outside.
2) '11 E90 335i - Great daily driver
3) 964 911 - with prices going the way they are right now 30k might not get it done. It would be close
4) 2001 Toyota Landcruiser/LX470 - Great SUV that will last forever. Should make for a nice replacement to my wife's Jetta.

True, I would like to find something classic, but I would be hard pressed to choose between something like 240z, a type 1 beetle, a C3 corvette (yeah, I know...I Like em!) for restomod work.

Some may say I'm cheating but I call it creative thinking.
Astra VXR £7,000
Honda S2000 £6000
Audi RS4 Avant £17,000
BMW M3 £6500
Alot of good stuff available for under £18,000
God save the Queen and our shitty resale values.

1) Volvo V70R 6-spd manual (daily driver)
2) Dodge Dakota Quad Cab 4X4 V8 6-spd manual (winter daily driver)
3) '68 Dodge Charger (restoration project)
4) '60s Volvo 122s wagon or 1800es (other restoration project)
Other DD would remain my '94 Accord EX 5-spd coupe.
And there you have it from the Volvo loving Mopar enthusiast who daily drives a Honda.

1: 964 trackrat - I don't believe I need to explain this one.
2: Miata prht - Because a slightly more comfortable has no excuse to not be driven every fricken day.
3: A C/K 10 - Because despite all the panther fanboys I believe this is the most honest American vehicle ever made.
4: Fiat 500 Abarth - Because jacked up mini cars are insane
Pics for those who lack imagination.

Funny - had a similar conversation this past weekend. Here we go.
1) 1986 Honda VF500F Interceptor. Charlotte (whom I still own) was my first bike and the two of us hunted down GSX-Rs in '97 & '98. And a scosh in '99. Yoshimura Exhaust and the lower fairing (aftermarket) shown in the above pic. Metzler tires (as in the picture) but stock black rims. In otherwords . . . the bike I own.
2) 2007 Honda VFR 800Fi Interceptor in Anniversary Livery. I loved the Knight Saber . . . she & I were T-boned which was the last time I rode. Stock - possibly with matching hard bags.
3) 1988 Fiero GT. Likely in black I think it's fairly understood that I love this car. And with this modification which is fairly simple and very much within budget, the 3800 SC makes this thing a FREAKING BLAST. Hamfat, I'd have this car on the list without the modification.
4) THE CORVETTE FROM HELL aka 1990-92 Corvette ZR1. This won out over the other Vettes because can't afford a proper C1 or C2 for under 30 grand, a C5 - C7 are out of the question for 30 grand and it just beat out several C3s for this honor. At around $18,000 to $22,000 I have enough for fixing/restoring this car to proper showroom stock. However I was *this close* to putting the 1976 Corvette Stingray in this spot. Because finger waves. Also landing of the Mothership.

You never said I had to paint it, nor did you say I had to purchase new parts for it.
A rear ended C5 is cheap enough, and if I do all the labor myself, only paint should tip it over 30.

"4. Lets assume you have a reliable DD which does not have to be included on this list."
I'm going to go ahead an include my DD, and I didn't see a price cap here, with repair and maintenence excluded, so:
DD: M5 swapped 5 series wagon:
V10, paddle shifters (Remember, daily), semi-sleeper status.
As for having the other 4 cars
Truck: 2004 Dodge Ram Diesel, chipped, intake, exhaust, mild lift.
Decent tune with supporting mods, 5th wheel, good lift kit, decent wheels/tires. etc...
Fun weekend car: 93 MR2 hardtop Turbo.
gen4 swap with CT16 turbo and standalone with flex fuel sensor, silk road coils, full bracing and supporting mods. Blitz type 3's for street, RPF01's for track, and weld drag rims for the strip.
winter car: 93 Celica All-Trac:
Gen4 3S-GTE swap, CT16, standalone, flex fuel, etc. Castrol vinyl, OZ rally rims for rally of course, set of gravel and snow tires, gram lite 57 for street.
Wife's car: 2005 Lexus Sportcross wagon, with Altezza Gita roof rack.
Probably air suspension, 2JZ-GTE swap, single turbo, standalone EMS, flex fuel sensor, supporting mods.
The MR2 would probably be around $25k all in, less if I did most of it myself. The All-Trac would be close, maybe pushing $30k, just because of the rairity. Sportcross seems to be towards $7k plus the swap and mods, maybe $20k-ish? And the Dodge will probably be the closest to $30k. If the DD M5 is cheating, then we will assume that I drive a new Dart, or maybe Fiesta or Focus ST, maybe an IS350 if I'm lucky.
